Summary

Support IT for all locations in Oregon, Washington, California and New York, with primary emphasis on supporting the New York sites.  Work with a secure WAN through a mix of Provider Managed MPLS and Cisco terminated site to site VPN connections.  Support a server environment that is primarily Windows Server technology with desktops a mix of PC and Mac, as well as mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad.  Provide support to employees via Help Desk, which concentrates on the overall integrity of the network, server/application deployment, security and ensuring network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Essential Functions

  • Maintenance and administration of servers, desktop and laptop computers, printers, routers, access points, switches, firewalls, phones, tablets and smartphones; some Point of Sale equipment
  • Software deployment and policy development and implementation
  • Server uptime, automated notifications of reliability issues, troubleshooting, maintaining and monitoring
  • Authoring and updating end-user and internal documentation, scheduling and hosting training sessions for Stumptown staff and regular follow up with areas/department on their needs

Supervisory responsibilities

  • No direct reports

Qualifications

  • Verifiable experience, education, or certifications sufficient to demonstrate required proficiency at job tasks
  • General knowledge of Microsoft server products
  • Some familiarity with Cisco routers and switches
  • Knowledge of network security threats and available technology to combat them
  • Basic knowledge of telephone and telecommunications systems both wired and wireless
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee
  • Exposure to virtualization, specifically VMware and vSphere preferred
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA or other ticketing platforms desirable
  • Prefer solid understanding of disaster recovery best practices and business continuity
  • Basic knowledge of multi-point video conferencing desired
  • Experience supporting customer driven retail environments preferred

Summary

This position will support Wholesale and Retail roasting needs by working closely with Roasting, Green Coffee, Customer Service and Production staff on a daily basis. This is a full-time position, working five days per week. Required workdays will fall on the weekend with consecutive days off.

Essential Functions

This position will support Wholesale and Retail roasting needs by working closely with Roasting, Green Coffee, Customer Service and Production staff on a daily basis. This is a full-time position, working five days per week.  Required workdays will fall on the weekend with consecutive days off.

  • Fulfillment of daily coffee orders (scooping batches)
  • Perform routine roaster cleaning and maintenance
  • Assist with green coffee; inventory and floor counts, receiving, organizing and moving product; weighing and portioning for recipes
  • Serve as a link between Roasting, Customer Service and other departments
  • General organization of the roastery; cleaning, stocking and other duties
  • Develop a deep understanding of the techniques and approaches that define our roast philosophy; development of multiple varieties; roast profiles for every coffee and blend; time, temperature and carmelization for all coffees
  • Develop a deep understanding of all of our coffees; attend daily cuppings and espresso evaluations for quality control; engage in all green and roasted coffee education and new training curriculum; relative tasting of coffee over various brewing methods
  • The ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee
  • Minimum two (2) years of roasting experience on a drum roaster
  • Demonstrated understanding of Stumptown’s position as a roaster-oriented company

Summary

The Warehouse Supply Manager will oversee ordering, receiving, and distribution of all warehouse merchandise and supplies, including managing vendor relationship and maintaining inventory.  This position works with our Roasting Department by assisting with the receiving of green coffee.  Works closely with West Coast supply team, Production, Service, Roasting and Cold Brew to improve and streamline the inventory control process.

Essential Functions

  • Act as key contact for all facilities matters in NY
  • Prepare BOL’s for shipment of freight
  • Maintain weekly inventory levels and pars for all items in warehouse
  • Responsible for inventory counts and shipping & receiving in ERP
  • Coordinate and balance the inventory and supply needs of various departments
  • Fulfill intercompany and wholesale orders from warehouse
  • Check incoming merchandise against receiving tickets, packing slips, or BOL
  • Assist with unloading and stocking merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner
  • Manage vendor relationships for all non-coffee merchandise and supplies
  • Oversee movement of all merchandise (receiving and distribution)
  • Create electronic purchase orders and receive against them as goods arrive
  • Assist with receiving green coffee inventory
  • Lift up to 70 pounds on a daily basis
