Summary

Stumptown is looking for a dynamic individual to join our East Coast Wholesale crew in the role of Assistant Manager of the Wholesale Customer Support team. Every day we strive to deliver of the highest level of customer service and support to our customers. The Wholesale Customer Support team is the central hub for communication to our east coast customer base, and a critical part of our business. We seek a demonstrated leader with fantastic communication skills and a passion to create a superlative customer experience. This person will oversee the daily support interface with Stumptown’s east coast customers, ensure orders are fulfilled and customer needs are met in a timely manner, and assist in managing the team of Wholesale Customer Support representatives.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise and mentor the team of Wholesale Customer Support representatives
  • Oversee the interface between our customers and the East Coast Wholesale team
  • Consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience. Develop innovative ways to evolve experience with changing needs of business.
  • Ensure team communicates as the voice of Stumptown to all wholesales customers, and quickly and thoroughly resolves customer concerns
  • Lead and oversee fulfillment of daily wholesale orders. Work closely with systems and related departments to shape process for business growth.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Roasting, Production, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure order and customer experience needs are met
  • Assist Account Managers, Sales, and Trainers in addressing and prioritizing wholesale accounts needs and issues
  • Identify opportunities to continually improve team processes and procedures, and coordinate Wholesale Customer Support team training needs
  • Update and maintain wholesale customer contact data and documentation
  • Assist in creating and maintaining reports that inform cross-functional team projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Support Wholesale Customer Support Manager by assisting with supervision of a team of three.

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience required
  • Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Empathetic, positive, can-do attitude

Summary

The Warehouse Facility and Supply Lead will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of all warehouse merchandise and supplies to support their local Market through accurate transaction input into NetSuite. This role will work closely with Supply Chain Manager and Stumptown Coffee Headquarters to coordinate order volumes, communication with various departments, and routine inventory counts. The Warehouse Facility and Supply Lead will coordinate and implement processes for handling waste stream, maintain all local spaces in a clean an organized manner, and streamline storage. He/she will manage Contractor relations for small projects and building maintenance, and will facilitate local market safety meetings.

Essential Functions 

  • Create necessary Transfer Orders and Inventory Transfers to account for internal movement of inventories
  • Maintain communication and relationships with several departments across Stumptown to notify inbound and outbound movements
  • Create, maintain and manage vendor relationships
  • Responsible for all ins and outs of non-coffee supplies and merchandise pertaining to local market
  • Support Sales and Service Department in equipment ordering, tracking pending status, and ETAs
  • Create electronic purchase orders and receive against them as goods arrive
  • Check incoming merchandise against, packing slips, or BOL
  • Maintain weekly inventory levels and pars for all items in warehouse
  • Coordinate and balance the inventory and supply needs of various departments
  • Assist with unloading and stocking merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner
  • Assist with physically receiving green coffee inventory
  • Prepare BOLs for shipment of freight
  • Assist with small construction, building maintenance, and assembly projects

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience to include parcel and freight
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Operators certificate a plus
  • Some light construction experience (hanging pictures, assembly of desks and chairs, changing lightbulbs, touch up paint etc.)
  • Experience with inventory protocols and systems and working in an ERP such as NetSuite
  • Working knowledge of material handling methods
  • Self-starter in a fast paced, non-traditional work environment
  • Inventory management / cost analysis a plus

  • Ability to sit continuously at a computer
  • Ability to lift 50 -150 pounds regularly. Weight greater than 50 pounds will be mitigated with a lifting partner or device.

Job Title: Customer Support Associate, Distributor

Summary

Deliver the highest level of customer service and support to Stumptown distributor and wholesale customers throughout the country.  Ensure information and product is received when and how the customer needs it.  This position interfaces with Stumptown Distributor, Wholesale, and Grocery partners.  The role works closely with Production and Logistics teams to fulfill large volume coffee and Cold Brew orders across the country.  Duties require flexible hours as the office is open seven days per week.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the voice of Stumptown to the customer, sharing brand and coffee knowledge
  • Manage customer orders, deliveries and pickups in order to exceed customer service expectations
  • Plan delivery of goods to key Distributor accounts
  • Ensure order entry is consistently accurate and meticulously managed

Summary

Build and leverage wholesale operations in California.  Working as part of our California roasting operation and team, this position involves pursuing new wholesale business across a variety of channels.  Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager, our production, training and wholesale teams in LA and also fulfill sales goals by pursuing targeted opportunities in key metro areas within, but not always limited to, Los Angeles County.
