Stumptown Coffee Roasters Headquarters
Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
11 am Thursday August 30th, 2012
100 SE Salmon Street, Portland
We are pleased to invite you to the grand opening and ribbon cutting for our new headquarters at Southeast 1st and Salmon. We have been looking for a new home for several years and are so excited about our new facility. As part of the project, we are consolidating the entirety of our Portland-based operations, including green coffee, roasting, production, service, training and administrative operations.
We are thrilled to open our doors on August 30th to give you a preview of Stumptown’s new HQ in Portland’s central eastside!
Starting at 11 am, we will be celebrating with words from Governor Kitzhaber’s office, the Portland Mayor’s office and the Energy Trust of Oregon. Guided tours of the space will follow, including a look at our newly installed, energy-saving Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) and a newly refurbished, vintage Probat 90 Kilo roaster. The RTO was acquired through significant support from the Energy Trust of Oregon. We can’t wait to share the story behind this highly integrated roasting system and the impressive reduction in our carbon footprint and increased energy efficiency that it provides.
We look forward to seeing you Thursday and sharing our new space with you!
