Stumptown Family Outings

The Stumptown family boasts a bevy of talented folks on display in Portland this week. Come see for yourself.

To celebrate the release of their second album, “Finale of Seem,” Hello Damascus (Director of Operations Matt Lounsbury and roaster Blake Hoover) are playing a show at the World Famous Kenton Club with Dolorean. The album and poster feature artwork by another one of our own on the production team, artist Ty Ennis. The show starts at 9 pm Thursday, December 6th.

Barista, artist and super mama Heidi Hopfer presents Soft and Sturdy, an exploration of self-sufficiency, drawing inspiration from quilting, textiles, and braided hair. “It’s about weaving together a life well-built, if seemingly nontraditional,” she writes in her artist statement.

The opening reception will be at Redux Gallery on Friday, December 7, from 6 to 9:30 pm.

Belmont barista Zachary Marvick has unloaded a flat file of dizzying lovely India ink drawings of patterned and kinetic images, that are at once compelling and playful.

Pop by for the opening reception of his show How to Make Millions While You Sleep on Sunday, December 9, from 6 to 8 pm at the Belmont Cafe.

And last but not least, our resident beekeeper, singing coach, and barista Wolf Carr is peddling his pollinated wares at Crafty Wonderland this weekend, December 8 & 9th, from 11am to 6pm.
